The best broccoli!

Last year for Z’s birthday he received some grilling accessories for the grill he bought when we moved to CA.  Among the accessories was a grilling basket, very similar to this.  Last summer I did some research and discovered that with this basket, we could make the tastiest broccoli and more…

Grilled Vegetables

  • vegetables for grilling, what we’ve used: broccoli, green beans, zucchini, asparagus…
  • olive oil
  • balsamic vinegar
  • garlic – a few whole cloves, or some garlic powder
  • salt & pepper to taste

Basically, just combine the above ingredients to taste and grill!  We usually put the veggies in a bowl, add the oil, vinegar, about 3 whole cloves of garlic, and salt & pepper, and then we let them sit for a while, ideally 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.  Then, depending on the vegetable being grilled, we grill them in our grill basket for anywhere between 10-20 minutes.
